This card was made for a female work colleague for her birthday last week, she has not said anything about it so not sure if she likes it or not!

 

I love this daisy die and think I will be using it a lot...........................

 

 

Can I also just say again a really BIG thank you, for your concern about me after my fall - I am a lot, lot better (a little way to go) but compared to what some folk have to put up with on a daily basis I really cannot complain - it really is quite heart-warming that people I haven't even met show such concern - THANKS again xx

I just loved making this card, because other than knowing I wanted to use a paper clay heart, I had no other ideas - I really did 'wing' this one when I started it (Friday, 13th in the evening) but I have to say I was pretty pleased with how it turned out....................strange how sometimes you visualise a card and then you are disappointed when you have finished it and this one I had no idea where I was going with it and liked the finished article........................

 

and finally in situ on the mantelpiece after 'his nibs' had scrutinised it...................

Well first of all can I say thank you for all the well wishes after my fall - I am now feeling a lot better a little way to go but 100% better than I did.......................I must confess I am little disappointed at how long it has taken to improve but maybe that is an age thing!! 

 

Can I also say thank you to Debs (Artliff) and Margaret (Corgi owner) for commenting on my last post...........it is much appreciated and nice to see names that I recognise from other blogs that I visit............I realise that it is not always convenient to leave a comment from a time point of view so not sure if you visit on a regular basis but if you do ''THANK YOU'' and if you don't hopefully you saw something that would make you want to visit again......................

 

Well a grey and miserable day here today and then rain at tea-time (enough to cancel my walk with our daughter and our gran-puppy) which is not something I would normally do but it is 'persisting' it down!!

Pearl fest!!!..........................

this was made for a long-time friend for her birthday mid-January...........it was a milestone birthday but I didn't want to put that on the card.....................she is fully aware of how old she is without lots of cards reminding her.....lol!!
